The theme of this platform is to explore and enjoy. It is ambiguous and plain. Inexplicable and clear.
Explore and enjoy everything. Why? Because life is short.
I can be morbid. Those closest to me know that. But y’all let me just say. Life must be explored and enjoyed because it is short.
James 4:13-14 – Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.
Did you read that scripture friend? If not run it back. We are not in control. We do not know the end. We are not Alpha and Omega. We are finite. Just human beings living. But, we can we do more than live. We can explore and enjoy this experience, only when we understand the fragility and beauty of where we are. And where we are is on God’s green earth. With his people. Still breathing because of God.
We can explore and enjoy this experience, only when we understand the fragility and beauty of where we are.

I am not too big on lists but, the first way to enjoy and explore is to slow down. By slowing down you are able to pay attention to the details. Have you ever been waiting for a doctors appointment and started counting the chairs, listening to the clock tick, or feeling the wind when someone walks past you. Yeah, I have. It was because I was still enough to inhale my atmosphere. Imagine if we would slow down in the higher moments of life. Laughing with a friend. Crying with a family member. Dining out with colleagues. It could all be more enjoyable if we would slow down and feel the breeze.
I pray that you all would be still and see the twinkle in another’s eye. Enjoy the laughter of a child. Explore the nuances of love. Enjoy the presence of your grandparent. I think about my sweet grandma everyday, wishing I could sit on her porch with her just once more drinking kool-aid in a big glass. I miss her but I am thankful I enjoyed the moments we did share.
Enjoy every day as if it was your last. Live by the still water.
Until next time. Explore and Enjoy.
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Psalm 90:12

Love this!!!! You write so well sis, concise and very well connected! I also love the idea of being still In the everyday moments to find joy in what we already have- stewarding the moments life has afforded us, exploring the territory we have Stormed past and thrown tantrums in because something outside of our control didn’t go the way we hoped. Got me thinking sis! BIG TIME! Love it and love you more 🙂
